KAPA
Back to About

Open roles. One position, in Singapore.

If you are a designer, an engineer, a delivery manager or in business development, and you want to see a landed house through from the plot to the handover, we want to hear from you.

  • You are the first conversation an owner has with KAPA - from a plot or a house they are considering to the proposal that says what it can become. You carry that conversation through to award, hand it to the design and project teams properly, and stay the person the client knows.

    Your Scope

    • Find and pursue new private residential work - landed houses, condominiums, alterations and additions, renovation and design-and-build
    • Build relationships with homeowners, property agents, developers and consultants
    • Run early site visits, and read the brief: how they live, what they want, the budget and the timeline
    • Carry the sale from first enquiry through proposal, negotiation and award
    • Prepare proposals, quotations and tenders with the design, quantity surveying and project teams
    • Hand awarded projects over cleanly, then stay in touch through design and site

    Job Requirements

    Background

    • A diploma or degree in architecture, interior architecture, interior design or a related discipline
    • Business development, sales, design, renovation or the design-and-build industry
    • Landed houses, private condominiums or other private residential work is an advantage
    • Coming from design, project sales or project coordination and moving into business development is welcome

    Experience

At least two years of relevant experience. It does not have to be two years of selling — if you came from the design side and want to move across, that counts, and we would rather teach the pipeline than the buildings.

    What you would bring

    • Presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and clear writing
    • Enough residential design knowledge to read a drawing, a brief and a quotation
    • The organisation to hold several live leads without dropping one
    • Familiarity with BCA, URA and MCST requirements, and with AutoCAD or SketchUp, is an advantage

A short form: your name, email and phone, your CV or portfolio, and one project you are proud of. No account, no cover letter.

Nothing listed that fits? Send a portfolio anyway. We keep them.

Run your own practice? That is a different conversation, and a longer one.

We welcome architects, engineers and interior designers who want to join the collective.
